**Spoiler alert**
The whole time I was watch Robocop I was thinking, "What would it take for me the approve of robots protecting the street?" I have come up with that answer. There would need to be an alien race that human beings could not fight on their own for me to approve that kind of killing machine patrolling the streets.
I would hope that American aren't sheep-like enough to fall for that kind of marketing plan. I'm in public relations and I would never work for a company of this nature. This made me think that healthcare might be more corrupt than the financial sector. ( Then, I remembered this is a movie.) You can't put a price on one's life, but that kind of pressure make people make interesting decisions like replace every part of one's body with mechanical parts.
My major problem with this movie is that robots were killing people. The gunshots were not going to kill them like they would kill a human. I don't understand why they need guns if that have Taser-rounds that knocked people unconscious. They could easily disable someone because they would not die from being shot. I couldn't get pass that very obvious flaw in the plot.
Did anyone make this reference?
Pros: The Robocop suit and motorcycle.
Cons: Where are the bionic limbs in 2014??
